KH Saddle Pad Size Guide
Kentucky Horsewear saddle pads are measured in two places. A is the length of the top edge, along the spine. B is the drop, measured straight down from that top edge to the lowest point of the pad. All measurements are in centimetres.

| Shape | Size | A — top edge (cm) | B — drop (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dressage | Full | 60 | 55.5 |
| Dressage | Cob | 56 | 54 |
| Show Jumping | Full | 57 | 50 |
| Show Jumping | Cob | 56 | 47.5 |
| Show Jumping | Pony | 50 | 41.5 |
Choosing a size
- Measure your existing saddle pad the same way — top edge for A, drop for B — and compare, rather than measuring your horse.
- Dressage pads are cut longer in the drop to sit under a straighter, longer flap. Show jumping pads are shorter and more forward-cut.
- Pony is only offered in the show jumping shape.
- Not every pattern comes in every size. The sizes available for a particular pad are shown on its own product page.
Measurements are from Kentucky Horsewear’s current official saddle pad size chart. If you are between sizes or unsure, email us with your horse’s current pad measurements and we will help you choose.
