How to Measure
Kentucky rugs are labelled by their A to B measurement — the length along the top of the rug, from the withers to the tail. Traditional UK and US rug sizing in feet and inches refers to the C to D measurement instead, taken along the bottom edge from the chest to the back of the rug. Both are given below so you can match a Kentucky size to whatever sizing your current rugs use.
To measure your horse, run a tape from the centre of the chest, along the side of the body, to the point of the rump. That figure matches the C to D column.

Neck Cover Sizes
Kentucky neck covers are sized XS to XL rather than in centimetres. Match the neck size to the rug size you wear.

Kentucky’s neck sizing stops at XL / 160 cm. If your rug is a 165 cm (7’3), there is no neck cover listed for it — contact us and we will check what Kentucky can supply.
Measurements are from Kentucky Horsewear’s current official rug and neck size charts. If you are between sizes, email us your horse’s chest-to-rump measurement and we will help you choose.

This half pad is very plush, substantial, and is providing the proper (and very comfortable) cushioning for both me and the horse I ride.
My horse tends to grind his teeth when he’s frustrated. I started using the massage and facia brushes on him. He has a huge release and sighs every time I use these brushes, esp on his neck. He loves them!
