CHEST: measured at the widest point of the chest, i.e. under the arms
WAIST: measured just above the navel/belly-button, at the narrowest point (in the case of low-rise breeches, measure lower, at the waist)
HIPS: measured at the widest part of the hips, about halfway down the buttocks
SLEEVE: measured as shown - from the shoulder downwards
